I never do reviews but this one needs to be done. I needed 4 years of taxes to be filed and thought that tax pro could help me. Marty Evans was very helpful at first and said I would have my taxes in the next few weeks. A few weeks pass so I call him and leave a message for him to call me back. I waited a few days for a phone call(I understand it’s tax season and preparers are busy) So I call again and leave another message and I don’t get called back. Finally a week later I called again and got to talk to him. He said that he will check up on the status of my returns and call me back. A week goes by and he doesn’t call me back so I have to call him to leave another message. Finally I received 2 of the returns. Keep in mind that now he has been paid $800 for an hours worth of work. A few weeks pass and I’m still waiting for the 3rd return. It’s now been 3 months since I filed. So I call Marty again and I have to leave another message for him to call me back. I waited a few days and didn’t hear anything so I called again. The receptionist answered and quickly gave the phone to Marty and he said that he would check up on the status and give me a call back. I again waited a few days for a phone call. Nothing. So I called and left yet ANOTHER message for him to call me back. NOTHING AGAIN! By this time I was very angry and so I called again and left a vulgar message to him. FINALLY I GET A CALL BACK. Unfortunately I was in the shower and I missed it. He left me a 4 minute voicemail and a lengthy text about how he was disappointed that I decided to act and speak like that to his employees. He said that there was nothing else he could do and I would have to call the IRS myself. There’s obviously been a problem with my return and Tax Pro has failed/refused to help. I PAID A LOT OF MONEY TO BE TREATED LIKE GARBAGE. They charge $200 per year and anywhere else will charge you $120-150. Save yourself some stress, time, and money and go to any other tax preparer cause this company doesn’t care about their customers.

I used to hate going to the tax preparer. But that feeling changed when I met with Martin "Marty" Evans, CPA. He made me feel comfortable and gained my trust through his expertise. He teaches the subject to professionals and knows it inside out - I knew I was in good hands. It took him 1/2 the time it took my last preparer who seemed confused as to who I was every year. Marty was friendly, professional and easy to talk to. I recommend him highly!
