We have adopted a stray feral cat and they have come out twice to treat our cat for vaccines, nail trim, even surgery. We ended up not needing the surgery as it had been previously performed and was not visible until her belly was shaved. Our cat is too resistant to cages/vet visits, so this mobile service was exactly what we needed, if you are in jacksonville area and need someone to come to your home, I highly recommend this Dr.

*UPDATE* A year later and we’re more attached to Dr. Carlos than ever. I’m convinced my dog’s years on earth have been extended due to Dr. Carlos doing whatever it takes to keep him comfortable and improve his quality of life. Vet visits have always been stressful for my boy and since we switched to house calls I would swear I have a 12 year old puppy some nights! Even with debilitating arthritis and multiple tumors he is happy, playful and in good spirits. I cannot recommend this veterinarian enough! He is always available to answer questions, adjust medications, swing by the house or just reassure me when I’m feeling worried. Truly the best vet I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with.

What an unbelievably reassuring experience. My senior dog injured his leg and was unable to walk in the middle of this COVID-19 lockdown. We just moved to Florida and haven’t established a regular vet yet. Dr. Aguiar answered the phone and talked through everything with me and sent prescriptions to ease his pain and swelling. All through texted photos and emails. I found my boy’s new vet today in the middle of a pandemic

I cannot say enough positive things about my experience with Dr. Aguiar. I honestly wish I knew about his services sooner. I contacted Dr. Aguiar regarding end of life care for my 15 year old shepherd mix. I couldn’t bear the idea of driving my sweet girl to the vet and having her put down and personally I couldn’t go through with doing it. My dog took a turn for the worse the day prior to our scheduled appointment and I made contact with him seeing if he would be able to come out sooner. Dr. Aguiar and his assistant came out to my house and helped my sweet girl pass peacefully. They were both very compassionate and extremely professional throughout the entire experience and what was a very tough time. I highly recommend Dr. Aguiar and his services. I am happy he has chosen to offer his services in a mobile manner throughout the Jacksonville area. He made a very tough situation the best it could possibly be.

Dr. Aguiar is the best!! He is very responsive and accommodating to my busy work schedule. He's made several house calls to care for my fur baby Chiquita (a Havanese), over the years and I trust him completely! Prior to meeting Dr. Aguiar, Chiquita would get super anxious when taken to a traditional vet's office. She didn't like having to be in the same waiting room as other animals (cats, dogs, rabbits, etc) just for the routine exams, vaccines, feces test, etc. Now, I won't do it any other way! Super convenient, and less stress for all involved! Over the years, I've called on Dr. Aguiar to visit when my dog was very sick, again when she was starting to exhibit severe anxiety due to thunderstorms, and just recently for her regular check up, heart worm meds and vaccines! Dr. Aguiar and his assistant Abbie, are able to quickly build rapport with my dog, take the samples needed, examine, diagnose and administer the meds very quickly making it good experience for both humans and pets! He takes care of ordering the right monthly medications for my dog, and a few days later it's all delivered to my home address! It's a no brainer! I highly recommend!!

My family recently had to euthanize our 11-year old, and nearly 200 pound mastiff, which if you have any experience around giant breeds, you know that this is a very old dog. He had tremendous difficulty getting up and walking due to arthritis and such. We wanted his end of life experience to be as calm and pleasant as possible, and if you have ever tried to move a 200-pound dog that has mobility problems, is scared, and may not care to be moved at the time, you might have some idea of what a challenge this could be and how unpleasant it might be as their last experience. Dr. Aguiar and his assistant showed amazing compassion both to our loved pet and family member as well as the human family members in this difficult time. We were able to have the euthanasia administered at our home while we showed love and affection to our mastiff. Dr. Aguiar and his asssitant made sure we understood what he would be doing in each step, and they allowed us all of the time we needed to make sure we could say our goodbyes. After going through this experience a fair number of times with traditional veterinary services, I don't hesitate to highly recommend Heal Mobile and Dr. Aguiar. I will always choose this method going forward with any other pets, whether giant breeds or not. Thank you to Dr. Aguiar and his assistant not only for their mobile vet services but also for their support and compassion in this time.
