Bad area, bad place to stay.

The room was terrible. Second worst rooms I've stayed in in years. Second worst only to OYO in Jackson, MS. We booked this room with Choice Rewards points. Our first room we reserved was a 2 Queen bed room. We arrive at the hotel, room miraculously canceled. Had to rebook a room with points and they only had a King room left so we took it. Just needed somewhere to lay our head for the night. There was mold above the doorway before you enter the room, mold on the air conditioner inside the room, and rust on all the bases of the lamp. The sofas were older than me. I'm 35. The room smelled like mold. The base of the toilet was filthy. The microwave was filthy with some sort of brown liquid in the back of it. Our room was directly across from a stairwell. Woke up in the am to a pile of filthy clothes in the stairwell. NEVER AGAIN will I stay here if I return to Georgia.

Got this place quick for a work trip and totally regret. 2 rooms were booked for 4 days and both rooms were dirty. There were burn holes in the blankets on 2 beds. Floors were sticky and dirty. Black footprint stains in tubs from the floors. Head and body hairs around the toilets. They came to clean our room 1 day and just made beds and emptied trash. They did take dirty towels/washcloths and didnt replace. The parking lot was wild. Illegal activity in broad daylight, as well as at night. People were loud and carrying out at night. Had a hard time booking these rooms and now think it was a sign not to. The silver lining was the super nice though but not worth another stay. This is my 3rd bad experience with Econo Lodge and will never use again.
Rooms: Rooms are dirty. Not filthy but dirty.
Safety: Not very safe.
