I am a former patient of Dr. Claiborne who cared about the way he and his staff provided service and I miss him so much. I paid out over $1500. + dollars to this office in 2019 and was told 10/14/2020 that I did not have a file in this office. I called DDS Robert Lane's office for several reasons and was asked if I was Dr. Claiborne's patient from years ago because they did not have my file(????) I just left this office last month in which service was provided. I actually had two; one, service was provided and the other, service was denied because I was told that my insurance had not paid the last claim so no service would be given. I was then told that follow up would be done after the claim was paid to reschedule me. Well, no follow up has been done with me personally, but I received a predetermination of benefits for the work I need. I called the insurance company and spoke with a representative who thoroughly went through the list and explained, and who told me that I have a past item from a claim from 2019 that should be paid but they are waiting on Dr. Lane's office to send the necessary documents requested. She also stated that benefits for the predetermination are also requesting additional information but the dentist office has not responded. I don't know if the communication has been so lacking due to the third change of office staff since I've been going here but It is awfully sad to call and be told you are no where in the system and then after being put on hold, a office staff answers with a less than pleasant attitude questioning why I am calling and what I want. I begged her to listen to what the insurance company explained to me. Although it was 7:30 AM, I was told to call back on tomorrow or Friday to speak with someone who could help me.
