It's been a minute since I studied at MIM - and received my LMT degree. Recently I needed some help with CE's in order to be re-instated. In both those instances I can give nothing but positive feedback. The classes I took, the teachers I had, the labs we did, ... every single aspect of this institute is authentic and valuable. It gives students everything they need to succeed. From hands on to tutorials to classes to courses on ethics and law, there is just nothing better in Memphis. As for my recent request, I received once again all the help that I needed. Not only does the institute offer classes to earn CE's, they help out individuals (like me!) who are a bit lost. Kudos to them, all around. A + if you ask me.

I recently had an unfortunate experience with this establishment that compelled me to share my thoughts. As someone currently undergoing dialysis, I've been facing numerous challenges in my life, and finding support and understanding in unexpected places can make a world of difference.
Regrettably, on a day when I truly needed some respite, I decided not to drive home after my dialysis treatment, feeling physically drained and unwell. I thought I had found a compassionate and understanding place where I could temporarily leave my car without worry. However, the events that followed left me deeply disappointed and disheartened.
To my utter shock, my vehicle was towed from this property while I was dealing with the physical and emotional toll of my treatment. It's disheartening to think that individuals tasked with patrolling and managing this space chose to tow my car without any consideration for my situation.
I must emphatically state that PB & J Towing was the worst thing somebody on dialysis could ever handle. It was an experience filled with insensitivity, heartlessness, and a complete lack of empathy.
It's important to remember that establishments like these often portray themselves as places that extend a helping hand to those in need. However, my experience has made me question the sincerity of that claim. Being towed away during a vulnerable moment hardly aligns with the idea of genuine assistance.
I believe that a compassionate and understanding approach should always be at the forefront, especially when dealing with individuals who are going through medical treatments or facing difficult circumstances. This incident has left me deeply disappointed with this establishment's lack of empathy and compassion.
In times when we're at our most vulnerable, it's crucial to have a sense of community and support. Unfortunately, my experience here did not reflect these values. I sincerely hope that my review prompts a reevaluation of the policies and practices in place, so that others in similar situations are treated with the care and understanding they deserve.

I am a graduate of MIM's Massage Therapy course and a returning volunteer for new students to practice on and hone their skills. The coursework, exams, labs, and hands-on practicals set me on a path for success. The instructors are top-notch, have a deep care for the massage industry, and are equally passionate in the success of their students. Each time I visit, no matter how much time has passed, is like coming home to visit family.

I was a student here in 2012 and I can say that it was the best educational experience ever had; including my Bachelor's of Business degree. I really learned everything about the human body via anatomy, physiology, pathology, kinesiology, etc. This helped my mind connect through my body, to the clients; to better understand what they needed from me as their therapist. The instructors were all top notch from our regular instructors to our guest instructors! I consider myself well-traveled and when I give and receive massages, it confirms for me and my clients that it's levels to the training and the Massage Institute of Memphis is at the top! Because of this fact, clients pay a premium for your services, knowing they will have a 1 of a kind experience from the best of the best!
