This place is a joke. I went into the hospital on Christmas Day for throwing up and diarrhea. I thought I had the flu because my family had had it. I was admitted for something being on my gallbladder & a cyst being on my ovary. I was there for several days with things showing up on all the tests done on me for it and also had a scope done, to be told I must have something viral. All the blood work that was off, catscan, ultrasound, etc.. they just gave me no answers. While I was there after a few days I started developing a fever. The doctor never seemed to care to swab me to see if I caught anything or not. Now that I am out I went to the doctor today and I have the flu. Its too late for medicine to even help me. As if he would have paid attention at the time this wouldnt have got as bad and it wouldnt have spread to my family who now also has it as well. There was only 2 nurses out of the whole 4-5 day stay that cared. The nurses wouldnt even come when paged and a few denied me Tylenol even though it was put as me to request when I needed. The general surgeon came in the room to talk to me and basically told me nothing was wrong with me & was very rude. Just so much to say about this place. I would NOT have went if I knew I was going to be admitted. Also to add, the ultrasound that was performed on me showed a corpus luteum that Mayfield said was me about to start my period. They didnt do an HCG blood test on me the whole time either. When I went for my checkup with the doctor, I told him I was late for my period, like I stated in the hospital. He brushed it off and told me they checked my urine when I was in the hospital and it was negative. When I left the office I bought a pregnancy test and it was positive. Come to find out, I was pregnant the whole time, even in the hospital & my OB at a different location said thats what the corpus luteum meant was pregnancy. Sadly, I had a miscarriage shortly after.

This place is dirty and dark. You need to up date your out patient surgery, the mattress so thin ( the president needs to put his butt on it for a few hours to see what the patient goes through)the chairs are nasty,room dirty see pic. Staff nice. This hospital needs to up date the lighting everything so dark and depressing. PS. Out Pt surgery rm 17.

I arrived with abnormal bleeding and other issues. Blood pressure showed I was in stage 1 hypertension and it was overlooked completely. The Dr. never addressed my high blood pressure or even had the thought to tell me but instead they just gave me a pregnancy test even though my tubes are tied and checked my hemoglobin, theytold me I had blood in my urine then sent me home saying I was fine. No physical exam was done at all and the doctor did nothing but tell me she didn't trust tubal ligations and I could be pregnant. I wasn't but still no other tests or examinations were done to determine the cause of my bleeding or the high blood pressure. 2 hrs. and no help at all.
