Today after years of my children being patients at this office I was told that the billing department does not bill private insurance for vaccines. This is the most Rediculous thing Ive heard. What is the point in a doctors office that cant bill insurance for vaccines.

Commendations for this striving practice! Since there doors open we have received reasonably good care! They are mindful physicians and after reading the distasteful reviews, dont receive their due diligence. Having patience is there affirming quality, you must consider their time constraints with patients that were there before you in the clinic and/or are there. So that means they have to display professionalism with each client, even in the face of a difficult client visit or an appeased one. This office staff are exemplars in their tasks and in greet and meet from the door until you leave. I have confidence this practice will continue to grow into one of the Eastern Panhandles best practice providers! Bests to AVFM! And Ive been a patient since their doors opened!!

I've been a patient for years and been on blood pressure medication communicating with a lady by text that would text me to remind me to take my blood pressure. Refilled their prescription every month with no issues. One month randomly the pharmacist said the doctor never responded this time. I called their office and they said that I need to be seen before they'll refill the prescription for my blood pressure which I already hadn't taken for a week waiting for them.
So she schedules me a phone appointment like we've been doing for the last 2 years. No one called for my appointment. Called back and rescheduled and they were sorry. The second time no one called.
The reason no one called the second time is because the girl that answered the phone when I called from my cell phone one time when I was out and about asked me if I wanted to update my phone number to my cell phone that I was calling from and I told her no. I told her that my cell phone doesn't have any signal at my house so please don't change it. She changed it anyway. I do believe that it's a severe language barrier to the point where yes and no are completely irrelevant because they're going to do what they want to do. The phone number change without my authority is why I didn't get the second call supposedly so we made a third appointment.
By this time I hadn't taken my blood pressure medicine and over a month.
I texted the girl the night before and confirmed my phone appointment for the next day and I specifically asked her in the text message if the doctor is just going to call me on my home phone like usual and she said yes. The appointment came and went with no phone call. I texted the lady after the appointment and she literally asked me if I was in the app. At this point, I just decided to stop trying. She had a million opportunities to tell me the truth and let me know that I needed to download some app to get an appointment now but actually told me the opposite advice the night before my appointment and then was pretending like there is some app I'm supposed to know about randomly even though she said they would just be calling on my home phone.
Now it's been a few months since I've had my medication and I'm in the market for a new primary care because I have to be able to have open communication and I have to rely on the information I'm being told is accurate. That is the minimum standard of care and that wasn't Happening Here. As much as I loved the doctor, I can't go on like that. I'm sure the doctor told her staff to let me know that I needed an appointment within the next month for my refill but no one ever bothered to communicate that to me. I can't live in that disorganized chaotic type of way
