Martinez Sheet Metal started serving customers in Contra Costa and Alameda in the 1930's. It was originally a Sheet Metal and Roofing Company, but eventually split into Martinez Sheet Metal and Martinez Roofing. Arthur Foster purchased Martinez Sheet Metal in 1962. Mr. Foster is currently a part-time consultant. His sons, Dave Foster, President, and Glenn Foster, Vice President, have been with the company approximately 28 years. Dave is supervisor of the 18 employees and oversees the commercial business. Glenn Foster is in charge of the residential and light commercial business, as well as the purchasing.

I had an air conditioning problem during the last heat wave when it completely went out. Martinez Sheet Metal is always our first choice. I called late yesterday and Jason came early today. Turned out it was just a couple of blown fuses which were removed and replaced very quickly. Jason explained everything and showed me the bad fuses. Wonderful guy and company. I highly recommend them!
