My 83 year old sister has Dementia with Lewy Bodies and I placed her there August 2022 and she is still there as of May 2023. I am 100% satisfied with the staff and care that she has received for the last 9 months. The administrative staff is top notch!! Tyler is the administrator and he wears many hats and manages the facility very well. He is always available to me for concerns or just a talk. Christy is the Social Director and she was the first person I dealt with when placing my sister. She explained everything to me and continues to reach out to me for regular check-ins. Grace is the nurse supervisor who again is available for my many questions about this Dementia and she really cares for every resident. All 3 administrators have an open door policy which I appreciate. The floor nurses and the CNA’s are busy but they are trained very well to manage all the residents in their neighborhood. I will always support and favor the Anchor. I appreciate them for caring for my sister,

If you want your parent to live in an absolutely beautiful place with their own apartment, and be totally neglected, then this is the place. The doctors at Carbondale Hospital called my Mother's condition nothing but neglect. Also the doctors will not testify to this in court, because they would lose the money from them. So the vicious cycle of neglect goes on. This is my second review but it gets taken off...but I will keep putting it back. DO NOT PUT YOUR PARENT HERE, YOU WILL CRY FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE.
