      image Paid 3 times what it costs elsewhere for a shelf not realizing it was more than it should have been and sweat my butt off doing it as it was a crisp 90 and only 73 outside. With prices that high you would think they could afford AC.

      image I used to be a Marble Home Depot guy. Not anymore. Lowe's has a much better selection and is way more staffed. Plus ya got Harbor Freight right next door. It's a win win.

      image Do not get anything installed from Lowes, especially this one. I bought three appliances from Lowes for a new house, and it took them at least 8 trips to partially install everything. One installer showed up at a billing address an hour and a half away instead of the shipping address. One time they called and told me appointments were cancelled and someone still showed up hours later after I left. A measurement consultation showed up and basically asked why am I here? because no measurement was actually needed. From the incredibly lazy delivery team who didnt even attempt to connect the electrical line to a range, to dishwasher install that was never fully completed because he didnt ask for a valve and then never knocked the plug out of the disposal for the drain line. To date, I still dont know if the vent hood has actually been installed because the installer never called to confirm they were coming. Ultimately, their system of subcontractors is broken. No matter who I called, no one could actually make a very simple task happen because three levels of contractors and subcontractors could never communicate amongst themselves. This is what nightmares are made of and I doubt I will ever use Lowes for anything ever again.
