If you are going to get a pure breed dog, get it from a breeder that does genetic testing and you can view at least one of the parents. I was informed they get most of their dogs from other breeders.(per phone call). I would rather just go to someone who shows dogs and puts a lot of care in trying to get the best temperament and quality to that breed. A good health guarantee and life long take return policy. It just seemed too risky because of all the breeds they sell. My vet said "NO Way".

I waited 9 months after purchase to post this review. I have no complaints, only praise. The selection and purchase experience was exceptional (esp. during a pandemic), and I was able to visit my puppy weekly until she was old enough to come home at 3 months. My lovable pug puppy from Sportsman's turns one year old today. She is healthy, happy, beautiful, and the best dog I have ever owned. Many thanks, Sportsman's!
