The Sewing Studio is known for its specialty stretch fabric dept offering a large selection of lycras, crushed and solid stretch velvets, foil lycras, glissenettes, stretch mesh, swim suit fabrics, swim suit linings, spandex, workout fabrics, dance wear fabrics, belly dancing and costume fabrics. Our lace and trim dept is the best anywhere. We have boas, Marabou feathers, stretch sequin trims galore, rhinestones, swarovski crystals, sequins, pearls, and much more. For the brides and evening wear, we have bridal fabrics, laces, appliques, trims, tiaras, and head pieces. Flower girl baskets, ring pillows, veils and many other bridal accessories. Wedding fabrics including 108" wide illusion, silk shantung, velvet, silk etc

I must have caught them on an off day! I had been looking forward to visiting this location and I was really let down. I visited during the Florida Shop Hop and there was no acknowledgement when I entered the store and the only time staff recognized me was to ask if I was looking for the cash register. I didn't expect the red carpet treatment, but no "Hello", "are you finding what you're looking for", "did you need some assistance" I felt like I shouldn't be there. The store has some beautiful fabric and many fat quarters and I would love to shop there again, but am very hesitate because I felt less than welcome. Their smaller store in Lady Lake was much better!

I love love love this place. I come to Orlando from Kentucky to meet my cousin from Michigan every February/March. We have lost so many of our quilting/sewing stores, I was elated when my cousin came across this store. Such a variety of not only fabric but all accessories, etc. So wish we had a store like this in Kentucky. Wonderful staff, great personalities and so knowledgeable. Definitely an every year stop, at least once or twice.

This place is AMAZING!!!! Drove 90 mins and was going to leave my machine but TONY was able to help me right then!! Thank goodness it was an easy fix for him but ha ha not for me tho. So grateful for 2 reasons, the timing to be there when Tony happened to be there and that I didnt have to drive back again to get it.. and there was no charge!!! Be still my heart . The staff was courteous and beyond helpful. I will be back there for my machine to be cleaned etc but since its 2 years old I can hold off till fall or next year. Those folks are awesome. Loads of sewing stuff!!! Love it!!! Thanks again !!
