This is a nice place to stay and there's a nice pool and hot tub. Near some great shopping centers and easy to access.

The staff were exceptionally helpful and nice at every turn, but five nights here was about four nights too long. We can do better than this.
Much more dated than the website and photos suggest. Below average comfort on the pillows and beds. Cheap microfiber sheets that make you sweat. Curtains that dont close all the way so youre forced to sleep under the red neon light of the gigantic PRINCETON CLUB sign across the street. Slowest elevators east of the Mississippi, and they honk at you like geese every five seconds. (No, thats not an exaggeration). The location is very meh, which isnt their fault but could be a factor in your decision. We were here to visit family at the nursing home across the street, and that made it convenient enough to tolerate. So it goes.
We usually stay at the Holiday Inn on John Nolen and I think well go back to that next time were in town.
As a note on value: We got a room at the Pfister in Milwaukee for the same nightly rate after we finished this family visit and had a mini getaway out there. Im not asking this place to be the Pfister, but if theyre the same price in a given week, some updates certainly wouldnt hurt. Please, Conrad, invest.
Rooms: Spartan and dated.
Nearby activities: Downtown attractions are about a 20 minute drive. You could check out the National Mustard Museum which is a bit closer, or the mall. Thats about it out on the far west side.
Safety: Seemed perfectly safe and fine.
Walkability: There is a cute cafe and grocery store nearby, and a sandwich place, but if you want to do anything beyond that, prepare to drive. Youre in west side freeway purgatory here.
