Would give negative stars if they would let you! Unbelievable system where guys in little white vans just drive around and look for got you moments unsuspecting citizens! I'm from out of town and visited my sick student at the dorm to drop off some medicine and be on my way at 4:20pm in the afternoon on a weekday is when I arrived and I came out at 4:35 or so to leave and had a ticket that said 4:28pm on it. The thing is I didn't know there were rules at all for parking in the lot until I looked at the sign and saw a sign that said from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. There is no parking without a permit! I got a $40 fine in the last 2 minutes of the parking enforcement.! I question my student even going to the school after this because it makes me think that the school is broke and they are desperate for every penny they can make! Upon paying the fine I did check out what permits cost and it's unbelievable what the UW system is scamming off of these people where they pay to park in a spot and they can't park anywhere else where there's spot available once you to get to a campus destination! Unbelievable!

I would give 0 if possible. I really would like to know why do they charge $100+ every month for a parking permit that only allows you to park in ONE LOT. Moreover, if you park at a surface lot (free after 4:30 pm) at 4:25 pm, you will most likely to get a $40 ticket.

If I didnt have to deal with these people I absolutely wouldnt. Paying $1200 a year for a parking pass should not come with 20 minutes of waiting in a line line to get into the place, constant construction and the nightmare that comes with it, attitude and gruff from the attendants on duty, and getting damage to your vehicle to the point where its considered a total loss. There are no cameras in the ramps if something does indeed happen to your vehicle; The only one is by the exit to make sure you pay. I paid for this parking pass via payroll deduction dutifully for 7 years every 2 weeks. When I was in school this past fall, I missed a few paychecks, and because they didnt get their money I was banned FOR LIFE from being able to do payroll deduction biweekly and now I have to pay the $1,200 UP FRONT with no ability to have this resolved. Not like I even get the opportunity to pay for such an expensive burden, I was 96th on the waiting list this year last I checked. So now it costs me even more now that I get to pay $15 a day to park to come to work. So glad I get an overtly expensive, run down nightmare with overall rude employees. If you can avoid dealing with this place, I would highly advise you doing so

Somehow they got the money to over staff, but no money to build more parking lot. I'm a University employee and I got a ticket 7pm on Christmas day for 10 mins over the "25 minutes limit parking" which is ridiculous as I could not image any unversity business could be resolved in 25 minutes. Worst department on campus and frankly I think their existance bring ABSOLUTELY no positive to the university. I would partition to abolish it.
