This is a place that helps groups of people, family members, residents of senior living places, and others talk about the experiences in their lives. I called Bifolkal Productions because I had known about the company, thinking it was an inspired idea. Unfortunately, I didn't do any follow-up. Lynn and her husband are the Founders (emphasis mine), of Bifolkal Productions. They are now retiring, and it seems that they already have a very packed calendar. However, Lynn got in touch with me a few times. She is a lovely person, and she gave me all kinds of advice for finding the Bifolkal Productions materials. She was also kind enough to give me some tips on memory eliciting. I do so hope that I am able to get all of the materials that are available. The newsletter is not being printed any longer. With Covid19, and the sheltering in place, of families and senior citizens, this would have been a great thing to do. I'm sure many people did talk about the memories of their lives. I believe the materials could also be used in many community meetings. Where it seems like we are so polarized, and we feel that "That person will never understand me!", perhaps we should be using the materials of Bifolkal Productions. Doing so might be the kickstart of coming to the understanding that we are not so very different from each other.
