Had to go in for surgery and from the minute I walked in I was made comfortable to the minute I was wheeled out (surgery makes you sleepy so I couldn’t walk out the same way I walked in) but I enjoyed my experience, the staff, nurses and my Dr made me so comfortable! Thank you for everything you all do :)

I had minor surgery in January of this year and have paid my bill to UnityPoint directly. It is now 10 months after my surgery and I just received a bill from the anesthesiologist that I saw. I was never told that I would be billed separately for anesthesiology and a delay of ten months is really ridiculous. It would have been nice to have been warned that this would be coming instead of being shocked by a random bill for hundreds of dollars. I find it just really unprofessional that they hide this fee and I would absolutely not get care here again.

Was in this hospital for near 2 weeks. Between all professional teams, the Dr's, the nurses, the cna, the dialysis team, the janitors, the nutrition specialist, P.T.ect...EVERYONE I met was a great pleasure. Hats off to all you at this hospital! Such great positive energy even through these trying times in the "covid era" and no thankful thats not what I was in the hospital for! I just wish I could remember everyone's name to give them individual credit. I hope the board of this great hospital retains the amazing people they got here!!!

Brought my wife in to the ER due to severe abdominal pain. The check in, and initial vitals check with the nurse were quick, but we were then dropped off in a room where we were told they were going to administer pain medications, a CT Scan, and an Ultrasound. We sat for about an hour and a half before asking for a nurse. They forgot about pain medications, and they had assumed we already went through all of the tests and were waiting for results. They wasted our time, and kept my wife in a lot of pain. All while they allowed a patient to have a mental breakdown for 50 minutes straight screaming at the top of their lungs at the hospital staff.
Two stars is pretty generous.
