Save your money (and sanity) and build with a reputable builder, not this over marketed company. A company bought over and over again with zero improvements. If you want to build the cheapest home for a top dollar price - this is the company to call!!! Sign papers for a $685k home and 14 months later you get to move in to a $250,000 - 1/2 built home. Then you can call, text or email regarding your concerns but dont expect a response. They got their money. They are just moving on to their next scam build.
We are now 33 days into owning this home. Contractors have been in our home almost everyday, we have had to adjust our work schedules to stay home while they work. Our master bathroom had to be re-done immediately after we closed bc its not built square, builder Mike Durbin, apparently didnt do his due diligence with his frame check prior to drywall. We have not yet got to unpack or use or master bathroom or closet. I was excited to come home today as the shower was being completed. Unfortunately for everyone involved its the exact same as it was prior to Elite fixing the reveal of the shower door. There are MANY more issues that Elite will be required to fix but this is the first problem they attempted to fix. As you can also tell they dont clean up after their work.
Update - 5 months passed closing. House still not complete from multiple building mistakes found. Master bath still not fully functioning as paid for. Had to have front door replaced due to Elite installing a damaged one. The new door was not installed correctly so there is air that enters home while door is closed. Installed last week, 7 days later still no one on site to install correctly.
Update - 7 months passed closing house still not up to the model home standards and weve had construction in our home everyday the last 2 months. Our master bathroom has been worked on 3 times now, still not fixed. The shower door now is barely hung and looks like it could fall any moment. Huge liability and Elite is now ignoring us.
Will continue to edit the review as they continue to attempt to provide an acceptable home for the price we have paid.
