Tried to book room. Sharing room so we were transferring funds in lobby when rude employee asked us to leave for taking too long no longer than 10 mins or so was needed to do this but woman employee messed up our stay by rushing us , making us feel uncomfortable.

Worst hotel ever. They will illegally take a copy of your ID and Credit Card. When showing your concern about this, the front desk will pull out a copy of another guests ID and CC to show it to you so you can just take a picture of it. Also It is against California law to announce a guests room number out loud, but they announced my room number when checking me in anyways. They also wrote my room number on a parking ticket that they made me put onto my dashboard. I asked them for the copy of my id and cc back with all the fraud going on and they refused to give it to me. When letting the manager know in the morning everything that happened and that it was illegal she said you should tell us what to do since you know everything yes obviously I should because you guys are breaking the law! To be a manager you need to be informed of hotel laws in California. She then closed the window on my face and walked away from the desk while I was standing there. This hotel should expect a lawsuit very soon.

The one star is for the cleaning lady that was the only one honest and respectful at that hotel. The breakfast is decent and consist in hot sausage and eggs. Coffee, tea, yogurt, cereal, fruit, breads and waffle station.
The pillows are horrible and the rooms are a lil bit dark, mattresess are decent.
Upon arrival, you will be greeted with a closed glass window and sign saying: we will be back in 5 min, more like 20 min.
The staff refuse to add another name to the guest list, besides the one paying with the credit card.
If staying more than one night only, you have to go everyday to recharge your key to daily access to your room. No other person from your room can do it, only the credit card holder.
Johnathan (the afternoon attendant) and Magaly (the general manager), are fully aware that the choice hotels app states free parking, but refuse to honor what was promised upon booking the room. According to their paper at the front desk, this change happened a year ago and has existed since 2023.
There is a lot of harlotry and illicit substances use at the front parking lot after dark.
If you call the front desk via your room phone, to report a domestic dispute in another room, Johnathan will not answer the phone. Instead you have to call from your personal cellphone to recieve uncivil and condesending response and is to why I should bother him and disrrupt his from whatever activity was doing. I dare you ask him for what he is paid for during work-business hours. When next to the room phone say: if for any reason you are not satisfied, notify the front desk.
If you are staying more than one day, you better have over 1k credit in your card, so they can charge and overdraft your account.
Rooms: Decent rooms and layout.
Safety: There is not safety, a lot harlotry and illicit activities at the parking lot.
Noteworthy details: Do a 360 view before exiting your car to reach the swipe to open the parking gate, basically have your weapon on stand by.
