I loved the Heritage Academy! The teachers there were so kind and helped me in my Christian walk. They also helped me get ahead in several subjects. I highly recommend this school.

Many of the glowing reviews on here are written by board members of the school at the behest of school leadership. You can look it up if you wish. If you are on the board your child gets decidedly different treatment at this school. Yet another way that they fail to show Christian attitudes.

We love this school! We have three kids. Our oldest went all the way through Heritage starting at Kindergarten. She is now almost a high schooler. Our twins started there at Kindergarten also and are in their last year at Heritage before going off to middle school in the fall. All of them have thrived at Heritage and our oldest is thriving in middle school. Heritage definitely prepared her in every way, and we know that our boys will also transition well due to Heritage's excellent curriculum, supportive environment and incredible teachers.

I was looking at high schools for a friend and decided to check in on my review of Heritage. I now have 2 sons that have graduated from there. Both have gone on to prestigious Bay Area middle schools and are thriving. I still believe this is the best elementary school in the Bay Area. The foundation that Heritage has given my kids both spiritually and academically has carried them through middle school and now high school. I read a less favorable review out loud to my son who graduated and he stopped me while reading to say-none of that is true!! Heritage is a family and yes, the principal has grandchildren there, but we have not seen any favoritism. Both of my sons were leads in the spring musical. My second son stays in touch with the school nurse and considers her a spiritual mentor. She now worked as a youth minister and many kids and teens view her the same. I still have one son at Heiratge and feel so fortunate to be able to drop him off for in-person teaching. Heritage applied for a waiver and the kids have been back to school since September. They has done an excellent job with safety protocols and they have continued to host class online for those families that did not feel comfortable sending their kids to school. Like my oldest two, my youngest loves Heritage. I am very grateful to the teachers and staff there. If you are looking for a loving, academically strong Christian school, I highly recommend Heriatge Academy.

Heritage academy was probably the worst elementary school. I went here for about 5 years and it was terrible. The principle had her grandchildren go here and favored them and did the most for them to be in the head of the musicals at school and pretty much the rest of us were chop liver. They suck at dealing with problems when I was younger I got my period early in elementary school and I never brought pads to school because I was young and didn't really know what it was and I went to the nurses office and she got mad because I kept coming in which made me feel terrible. They also favored kids I remember I wore shorts that were a inch off from the dress code and they made me wear a Kilt. A kilt. And I was humiliated, the next day a girl comes in (principles granddaughter) wears shorts that were way shorter then the dress code and no one did anything. Another experience I had was I was put on adhd medication when I was younger and it took my appetite away and my teacher would always force me to eat and would make comments to my mom about me not eating which turned into a bigger problem when I was older. I started to get insecure my last year I was there and I wore a hoodie everyday because I hated how I looked and the staff  would always make comments about it but I didn't want to because I hit puberty super young , younger than everyone else so I had body hair and I was ashamed but the school didn't help me they just made comments. Don't send ur kid here.
