Winter CSA has been disappointing in quality of produce delivered. Now at week 7 and have multiple deliveries where the root vegetables (beets, sweet potatoes, onions, potatoes) have been soft/spoiled from either improper storage or because they are far too old. In addition, of the three times salad greens have been delivered they have been very wilted. Zucchini was delivered with mold/spoiled spots on the squash. I assume also due to improper storage of the produce. I've had and loved CSA memberships for 20 years but this is my first season with Miller Farms and its the first time I have tried to cancel a membership (which they don't allow after the season begins).
