Several years ago, 8 to be exact I became pregnant with my first child. My husband and I were new to area and I had found Dr. Eaton and really liked him, a lot and I felt like I could trust him. At my 12 week appointment (I believe, timing is a blur) the checked for the heartbeat and found nothing. They sent me for an ultrasound to confirm that the baby had passed away. I was devastated, heartbroken. It was determined that I needed to have an D&C or let nature take its course. My husband and I were newly married, the recession had hit and I was out of work so when we talked insurance, etc for the D&C I was told I'd have to pay close to $2k for the procedure. I knew I wanted to to go that route but didn't know how I was going to pay for it. Dr. Eaton suggested I have the procedure done in the office, the cost would be almost half of that if I'd gone to the hospital. The day of the procedure I was given medication to dialate me and sent home and told to come back several hours later. Once back at the office I was told to lay down, I was NOT given anything to calm me, I was awake and beyond terrified. So scared I was shaking. The entire experience felt wrong and as if I was in a back ally getting an abortion with a coat hanger. My heart was completely broken from loosing my baby and I wish that I had known better and had enough sense to stop him.

I could not recommend this office more! Between Dr. Bleecker (now retired) and Dr. Eaton they safely delivered 4 of my children. Dr. Eaton and his staff took incredible care of me through pregnancy loss and 4 cesarean sections. I always allotted a little extra time when scheduling my appointments because Dr. Eaton never rushed me through an appointment. I expected that if he took that time with me he would also take that time with others and waiting an extra 15 minutes was worth it. I would highly recommend Dr. Eaton and his staff to anyone without reservation.

I'm not happy at all with this place.  Not really sure why Dr. Eaton left the building, the girl who called me to reschedule seemed to have no idea either AND no idea when he would be back... I'm really disappointed that I had to be rescheduled to a different doctor in a different city 2 days later than my original appointment, but I guess this is what it's like being nothing but a number in the health care system.  Not to mention at my first appointment with Dr. Eaton I felt like he just rushed, he didn't even try to get the baby's heart rate.  Sure, he was very nice...but I had a ton of questions that I wasn't even able to ask him because he was just in and out so fast and this being my first baby, I was very emotional and in shock and la-la land after seeing its little heart beating on the ultrasound.  And he also was super fast to prescribe me Zofran when I said I had been sick the last few days.  Zofran is not good for the baby and shouldn't be handed out like candy!  It should only be prescribed to women with severe nausea and vomiting!!

After 7 appointments and all being rescheduled I gave up.  For 3 months I tried to get in to have a physical. They either called the day before or of saying Dr. Eaton had to cancel- how does one not know of a holiday when booking an appointment? One time they even called the day after a cancellation to cancel that day but didn't have my reschedule down that I made the day before.....so completely unprofessional. If not taking in new clients then say so, not act like an 8th grade boy hiding from a girl.  Even if they finally said ok come in, I can't imagine what service I would get when I needed more than just a check-up.

The doctor I saw here (I think it was Dr. Bleeker) was NOT gentle with my girl parts.  OUCH!  I will not be going back.
