I just had a total knee replacement here at St. Francis Hospital in Litchfield. This place rocks. The staff was very helpful and friendly..
And the food was great too. The surgeon, Dr.Painter did an excellent job. High recommend them.

Went here for what I thought was cramping on the morning I delivered my son and they said it was just cramping and that my contractions werent close enough together for them to wanna check to see if I was dilating. Sent me home told me to take Tylenol and a bath 2 hours later I was back at the hospital dilated to a 9 giving birth to my premature son because they didnt wanna do their jobs the first time I was there. Never will me nor my son go to this hospital. Oh lets not forget I had to stand in the waiting room along with another woman who obviously very pregnant and in pain because the other gentleman standing there just needed to get checked in and she wanted to deal with him first. Waiting in the waiting room at least 20 minutes each time.

Im not from the area but I assume St. Francis turns enough profit to purchase a phone book, or has the resources to train its staff on how to look up phone numbers.
If not, I would be happy to donate a phonebook if it only marginally decreases the chance of anyone else receiving two missed calls and a voicemail at 2:00 in the morning from the hospital saying that theyre calling to report a death, please call us back.
Apparently my number was mistaken for the local coroner.twice. Why would anyone, let alone a health care professional, leave a message like that in a voicemail?
I would not recommend dying at St. Francis. Your death may be reported to the proper local authorities or to a completely terrified and confused stranger 70 miles away. Get it together.
