The owner (Stephan) is suppose to be a man of God, I hear he's a preacher. I called him up to look at some property belonging to my
in-laws. He goes over looks it over says the initial cut will be $240.00 and there after every two weeks $40.00. I hire him, we agree the best way to handle making the payments s to use PayPal. His wife submits the invoice, it is for $250.00, I don't concern myself with the difference, after-all it's only $10 dollars. I pay the invoice, his crew completes the work. The only issue we had was that his crew put all the tree trimmings at the edge of the curve for the city to pick up instead of hauling them off. Approximately two weeks later a neighbor calls my wife and tells her the city has ticketed the brush, if not removed it would be a $150.00 fine. I call Stephan to let him know about this. I truly believe this upset him because he had to pull his crew off of another job to go back and remove this brush, something that should have been done initially. I haven't heard a word out of him, been over a month. I make contact with him today 6/5/2017 to let him know the yard is due for a mowing. He replies saying: Sorry due to not having anyone around here how wants to work I will not be able to do your yard dew to lack of employees. I reply and tell him then you should not have taken on the job. He replies and says: I can't get the work I got done. The worker's I have are working 50 some hrs a week and can't get caught up. Because of this, it now leaves me in a pickle. I have to go find someone else to pick-up his slack. My opinion is he is a bad businessman and is a self centered judgemental character that picks jobs that initially pay good, but then drops the ball on the smaller ones that don't pay as well as others. He is greedy and that is one of the seven deadly sins.... I recommend that unless you want to be left holding the bucket, don't hire him.
