I opened new account online and I went bank to deposit money. Since, I open account online I asked associates to give me temporary debit card but the associate denied my request and told me they could not issue any debit cards to me since I opened my account online. And, for all services requested going forward, I'll have to do it on my own since I opened my account online; they will not help me.
He told me, I cannot visit bank branch to get any help. I will have to do online self service only.
Really disappointed by his behavior and answer.

Came in this afternoon as a customer and left this building closing my account with BMO Harris, definitely well deserved though they have the longest wait times the strangest rates on the credit card and they can't figure out where to send a credit card so it requires in person assistance for you to ask them whats going on when I get here one guys on a lunch break til closing time and the other woman says she can't help me with credit cards and to visit her site so in front of them I went to try and shut down my account because of how much lies they kept throwing out at me

My father has banked with BMO Harris since I was a child, so going on 40 some odd years. He went into this location, as he always does, to deposit some checks. They must have some construction going on, and they asked him for his ID. My father joked, that he was just depositing some checks, what is the issue. Then proceeded to get in some argument with the Bank Manager, and then closed my fathers account and essentially gave him a check and told him to bank elsewhere. I communicated this information to BMO customer service, they said they would address the issue. They didn't ask for any information such as my fathers name, the managers name, what transpired, nothing. So as the rep on the phone said, rest assured, they are probably doing nothing about it.

This location has the rudest lady at the front desk I think Ive ever met in a customer service position. My HELOC experience was absolutely horrendous and slow. I had to constantly follow up just to get them to meet my deadline that they knew far in advance. BMO needs to revise their hours for working people. Its obscene that you only allow services from 9-4. I will be closing my accounts. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else.
