We apologize if you misunderstood the repair procedure on your truck. When you brought us your 2013 F350 with 278,000 miles on 9/17/2022, the only concern noted was a power steering leak. This leak was immediately apparent to the technician. However because it was so extensive, we started by replacing the obviously failed hose that he could see. As with any repair, we always start with the least expensive high-probability fix for the customer. When a leak was still present after the hose repair, it was now controllable and our technician was able to continue his diagnosis to identify the booster you mentioned, which we recommended and then you approved ordering. Upon part arrival, we contacted you and you told us you were too busy to return for repair due to work and then became unresponsive. Out of respect for your work schedule, we kept your repair order open until March of 2023 when we sent you a bill for the completed hose repair, at which point you came in to inform us that you had taken our part recommendation to a different repair facility and had the work done there. Despite our full confidence that the repair procedure was properly followed by our technician, we generously agreed to split the $800+ invoice amount with you for our completed repair. If there is new information that you've obtained over the past 11 months since that mutual agreement, then we'd be very interested in anything we could learn from the new details. Otherwise we'd kindly ask that you retract your review. Thank you
