Had an appointment today, and had to have it rescheduled as they didn't have the case looked at before said appointment. And didn't see there were multiple angles to the case. Wasting my time!!

I had a very pleasant experience at the Social Security Office. I did not need an appointment and wait time was short. Staff was helpful and very personable!

I walked in to change my last name and from start to finish it was only maybe 20mins on a Tuesday afternoon. The staff and security were nice and helpful. Didnt need an appointment but they do have a waiting queue. Quick and painless.

Came here for a last name change around 11 on a Friday and the process was smooth. Checked in with the help of a kind man there to facilitate the waiting room (help people get checked in, making sure cell phones are silenced). There were about 9 people ahead of us and the wait was around 20 minutes. Once we went up to the desk the process took just around 5 minutes and it was very quick and smooth.
Finding the SSA room in the building and the metal detector scanner process upon entering the room were both a little stressful. Parking was harder to find but there are pay to park meters available.
