i've been going to this school for about 4 years, i am a secondary student and many of the staff members have threatened to touch students/have hit a few of their students. Not to mention how stuck up the principal is. Students are often given out detentions for sometimes reasons that aren't even their fault. In my four years of going to this school i can say it's very fun but the staff members really need to change their attitudes.

I used to attend EKA, and I just wanna admit that the teachers are great(i've had some problems with some but not all), but my parents and I (plus some of my peers) always had some problems with some of the administrators. They were always rude and difficult to deal with. The bullying at this school is bad too. Mainly because high school and middle school is mixed. Plus the rules are very tight, like the dress code, behavior, and grades. Yeah it's cool that you get to go into some classes that are ahead of your skill level, but their is just so much work and pressure getting put on the students from projects every 5 seconds, and even 3 pieces of homework from one class a night. All and all a terrible school for students and parents.

This school is ridiculously unorganized they wont let u pick your kids up early even if theres an emergency the recess teachers try to get your business out of your kids I absolutely hate it here if I could use negative stars I would trust me

Terrible terrible school. Terrible terrible administrators. Elementary school is ok. Middle school and high school programs are a joke- kids get to sign up for an "elective" class once a month such as bracelet making, playing with legos, life skills-where they teach kids how to boil water on a hot plate to make soup and how to change a tire. They tout themselves as project based learning with an emphasis on STEAM, but they are not. The schools main focus seems to be hiring under qualified staff for cheap and training them to be teachers, firing the qualified college educated teachers that question their poor leadership decisions, and separating parents from their money with constant fundraising and asking for donations that don't seem to fund anything for the kids at the school, but the superintendent gets a raise and a new car every year.
