We had such a good experience! The guy at Pro Trans was so helpful, understanding of our situation, fair, and quick. It was awesome. We were on vacation and the check engine light, specifically something about the transmission or solonoids, came on. The Firestone on West Craig didn't look at the car, but said they'd probably need to rebuild the transmission for $1500. We decided to get a second opinion, so we went to Pro Trans, and the guy took a look for free right when we got there, confirmed it wasn't a problem with the transmission, and said we probably needed the solonoids looked at, but that it'd be fine to go on vacation with it.

After being ripped off by fivestar transmissions at 5977 mcloleod, which is owned by David clingman, I was relieved to be referred to pro trans who did exactly what they were paid for. They are friendly, knowledgeable and fast.

Being a senior citizen makes you have to be a little more careful about how you spend that pension check. After having two other repair shops literally lie, promise and not deliver, one kept my car for 11 days and said it was fixed. A month later it was back in for the same problem and he kept it for another 12 days! I had to rent a car to make doctor appointments! He was so deceitful and dishonest, it was unbelievable.
Then, someone was watching over me! Pro Trans, Inc (924 S. Main Street, LV) finally received my car and did and outstanding job of rebuilding the transmission. A couple of weeks later the engine light came on and I went back. Rigo immediately checked it with the computer and told me it was a "fuel issue" and the transmission is fine. He reset the computer and told me to come back if it comes back on. The next day it DID come back on. He said just bring him the car and he would treat me fairly and even fix the problem if it was something he was able to do.
He used a "smoke machine" to diagnose the fuel leak, ordered the parts directly from Toyota, and had my car ready the next day. No more fuel smell, fantastic transmission rebuild, and this senior citizen could not be more happy with the service. They are honest, fair, decent, go the extra mile to NOT rip you off and really care about the quality of their work and their customers.
If only every repair place would be like this!!

First off! I stopped at a different shop first. Upon getting to a different transmission shop, the guys were total a**ho*les to me, were extremely rude so I left, I called pro trans and they were extremely friends to me right off the bat, they told me to bring it down and they'll take good care of me,so I get to pro trans and there nothing but friendly, as if we were long time friends! so as rico said on the phone I get there we take the transmission out of my jeep and frank starts looking it over, explains in much detail what is wrong and what I need, they tell me they'll take care of it and they'll call me before they close... What do you know they called me and updated me and told me a lot of stuff was messed up and it wouldn't last much longer (as a customer and not seeing the inside I'm not to sure) but Rico told me to take my time to think about it! So I just told them to do whatever they had to do! So they call me the next morning to tell me what price id be looking at and what all I need, I tell them to just knock it out and they tell me a time that it will be done (two in the after noon) what do you know few minute before 2 Rico calls and tell me to come pick it up that it's all done, so once I get to there shop frank right away starts showing me the messed up parts from the transmission (I know they were my parts because I had the trans already half apart and I remembered what they looked like!) he explained why the parts weren't going to last and that he put new parts in it that will last me! so I paid took my transmission home and installed it scared it was going to continue leaking (main reason it was there) I out fluid in it and NO LEAKS!! I was extremely excited! Drove it and it shifted and drove MUCH better, all and all, frank and Rico make a great team with a very very great shop! I would absolutely refer EVERYONE to pro trans inc! They gave me the best price, best info, were extremely friendly from start to finish (even though I kind of bugged them sorry guys) and got me on my way with the dead line I asked! Incredible guys and I can say I'll definetly be bringing all my transmission to them confidently, once again thank you guys so much for all you guys did and helping me with what little money I had for such great work!
