My wife and I both have been with Highlands Family practice for over 7 years. All our experiences have been postive and we are very satisfied. We have both been seen by Dr. DeArment and Dr. Denlinger. We cant say enough how both doctors and their staff are professional, very knowledgeable and caring. They ALWAYS spend time explaining and listening. Also the front desk staff are outstanding and are very helpful. We are so grateful to have such wonderful medical professionals so close to home.

I have been going to this office for maybe close to 10yrs, so I can speak to this:Some of the doctors, and the front end staff are excellent. Unfortunately, a couple of the nurses there are just awful. Not nice, not kind, and the way they speak to you and treat you is uncalled for. I have dealt with it for a while now, but I refuse to be treated in a rude or dismissive manner, due to whatever prejudices they may have. They have obviously gone unchecked for far too long, and patient feedback is not taken into consideration.
Edit: Office Manager could care less. Defended the poor behavior, never once acknowledged my feelings and how the poor treatment affected me; and seemed to be more concerned about whether I would be finding a new PCP.

I finally feel heard. Sometimes it is difficult to find practitioners who will address your concerns and treat you with respect. Doctors, nurses, CNPs and PAs are so overwhelmed these days. Highlands Family Practice as a whole makes me feel like part of their family from the front office to the physicians office. Dr Lindsi DeArment and her nurse Karen C. are wonderful. I feel in such good hands with them. I have numerous medical conditions that require monitoring. I feel that Dr. DeArment treats more than just each symptom. She has greatly improved my quality of life! Thank you to ALL Highlands practitioners and support staff for your hard work and empathy!

Stacey Denlinger was very helpful and informative in treating a wound that I incurred. She was patient, knowledgeable and answered all of my questions without rushing me out the door. I highly recommend Stacey Denlinger and Highland Family practice!

I recently moved back to the area and scheduled as a new patient online. I was pleased with how easy it was! I got at least 5 reminder calls for my appointment (a little excessive, but ok, glad to know I can beassured that my appointment was solid). Appt for 1045 on a Monday, drive time around 35 min. Get a call at 10:21 (obviously on the road at that point, navigating to a new place) that the provider is leaving within a couple months and so maybe it would be better to reschedule with another one, but that I have the option to keep the appt. I explain that I want to keep the appointment but that I'm running behind now because I pulled over to take the call. I should have just turned around then because I got there and I was a bit past the cut off and they wouldn't see me. I get it that they want to keep to their overly tight schedule, but I'm this case I think there should have been grace since it was their mess up that didn't catch that I'm a new patient scheduled with a provider who is leaving and notify me earlier than 25 minutes before my appointment (not the first one of the day). I think they owe me for MY time :)
