An unpretentious store with an excellent selection of new and estate jewelry. The owner is so friendly and professional....not to mention insanely knowledgeable. If you need any kind of jewelry work done, THIS is the place to go, they are utterly trustworthy. The work is always quality and done in a timely manner, so this is the only place I go for all jewelry work, as well as to sell my gold or gems. Their prices overall are competitive......with all this there's no need to go anywhere else!

A little while back i bought a cocktail ring at Target. It was a large unpolished rock crystal ring with very simple casing. I really liked the ring and were it a lot until one of the casing girdles broke. I decided to take it to the repair store couple blocks from my house -- Gold Jewelry & Diamond Inc it is. When i presented the ring the owner languidly put his glasses on, studied the ring for a couple of minutes and stated the verdict: "There might be plating on the casing and in that case solder wont take. If there is not i'll be able to repair it for $25. You will be able to pick it up in a day or so..." I guess I forgot to mention that i bought the ring for about $25, and i know that it should not take that much money nor time to make a simple repair. So i left. Shortly after i stopped by another shop just few blocks west of Colfax and had another jeweler check it out. When i asked if he can repair the ring he said: "Oh, no problem, I'll zap it for you right now, it'll just take me a minute". .....And a price, you'll ask... TWO DOLLARS, that's right $2.00 !!!
I dont know about you but i dont like to be treated like a fool and be ripped off.
