Rob walked us step by step through designing and installing our new built-in cabinets, finding various options that were within our budget. After agreeing, we finally got to see the vision in a beautifully rendered design and then work started! Rob was easy to get in touch with and was well-trusted to enter our home as his team needed based on scheduling. Well we are officially on month 11 of a 4 month project, and Im not sure what else to say. There have been a few high points of the work and of people, but overall the work is poor and incredibly behind schedule, which is mind blowing for the price. Im not sure why this industry doesnt think its common courtesy to tell people when you will, or wont show up or god forbid to take ownership of mistakes when they happen rather than blaming everyone else. Im extremely dissatisfied and disappointed. But having fired other people I guess theyre better? Baffled how they have 5 stars but because theyre slightly better than the worst, I guess I will give them 2 stars (even though they cost 5x more) Services: General construction, Tile work replacement, Paint indoors, Painting, General repairs & maintenance, Project management, Remodeling, Plumbing fixture installation, Consultation, Flooring

I've been lucky to work with the Pickell family for over 20 years. Their custom homes are the best in Chicagoland and they've won more awards than any other local custom homebuilder. It's no wonder they have such a sparkling reputation.
