NO hospitality here whatsoever. my dad is staying here while he is working 8 hours from home so i came to visit for the weekend and brought his dog. Ms. Lucy kicked me out while my dad was at work saying there is, and i quote, a rule on no dogs. Despite the fact there was a man with a dog in the room right by us. Also im not too positive what the $100 deposit my dad had to put down was for, the room was literally held together with tape. My dad has been in prisons nicer, dont let the outside fool you.

So if you're in Portage Wisconsin and need a decent place to stay for a night or a week at a time check the shady lawn. The lady in the office is very nice and will help off you need something. Rooms are clean but a little cold. Shady lawn..... give it a try it's pretty nice.
