What is up with Dr. "Pouradib, What is this, an extreme Christian Nationalist right wing MAGA medical office? If you have used cannabis they will kick you off the pain program. Someone explain to  these political Neanderthals that cannabis is no longer described as Reefer Madness where one puff will drive you crazy. Many doctors now recommend cannabis. My neurosurgeon gave me a referral to Dr. POURADIB who wouldn't even talk to me because Dr. Harris ( the creep ) said I used cannabis several years ago.

Normally my cortisone shot in my neck goes smoothly, everyone is kind and all goes well. Not this time! I received my flu shot from the CVS pharmacy that morning to pick up the valium med to take just prior to my procedure. They said I was due for my flu shot so I got it. When I got to the dr's office I filled out the intake form that had every question under the sun on it, except for "have you gotten a vaccine recently ". I overheard the dr's assistant ask the patient nextdoor if he had gotten any covid vaccine lately. He said yes he just got his covid booster. They sent him home. So I mentioned to the assistant I'd just gotten my flu shot. And got sent home!! No where is it written in any paperwork and in my pre procedure phone interview it was not mentioned. Consequently I had already taken the valium med for the procedure, gotten my sister to drive me to and from the apt and spent the rest of the day In a daze at her house then drove 45 minutes to get back home to my house! Still in major pain!! And the next available appointment isn't until 4 weeks and 3 days away All because they don't tell you till your there not to get a vaccine prior to your procedure. Now you know if you've read this.

I highly recommend Pain Management Associates in Laguna Hills. Everyone at their office is kind and caring. I am so lucky to have Dr. Pouradib as my doctor.  He really listens and has helped make my pain levels bearable.

Dr. Harris is the best

I've been bringing my uncle here for about a year. Dr. Harris is phenomenal! He listens, hears, understands super quick, and is one of the smartest doctors I think we've met. Most doctors in this field are somewhat guarded. Understandable. So is Dr. Harris. BUT, as I mentioned above, he listens. He goes by the book, which is what you want. His recommendations are always spot on. His prescribed regimens are super effective and are as minimally invasive as he may deem the need. Again, as with others in this field, you might not get a lot of small talk, but you will end up feeling well. We trust him implicitly.
