image I'm a professional detailer and I try to return my cars clean. I have an ozone machine that I use for my business. The first time I returned a car the manager noticed the smell and said that they use that as well to get rid of the smell of smoke. When I returned a car a couple days ago the manager called me afterwards and told me that if the next car I rent is returned smelling like ozone that she is going to charge me $200 because they'll have to send it to get professionally cleaned. She also said that they have had to send the last two cars that I returned to get professionally cleaned at a cost of $200 to them and that they couldn't continue to eat the cost. Why would you send a car to get cleaned that is totally clean, other than the slight scent of ozone, when ozone is the method that you use to get rid of smells?!? The answer is that you wouldn't. Clearly she was lying. Not just an on the spot in the heat of the moment lie, but a completely unprofessional and unnecessary premeditated lie. Also, I didn't use the ozone machine on the previous car that I returned. So, she spent $200 of company money to have a car cleaned that was just fine?!? I don't think so. Plus she told me before that "we use an ozone machine". Is she really sending cars to get cleaned or is that a lie too? At this point I assume that if she's talking she's lying. Very bad experience.

image Told us vehicle is. Excessively dirty and going to charge $250. We are not slobs. I have returned rental car before during vacation with mud due to 3 kids with me. A few minutes vacuum would suffice. Now also trying to tell us part of luggage rack missing???? We rented for month due to car accident. Person who checked out told me husband but never put in firm I guess. Since we did not get copy of anything as were suppose to send electronically I guess they did not.
