We rented DiamondStone lodge for several families and it was perfect! Each family had their own private suite, but we still had all the "togetherness" of sharing a house. With 2 large living areas, we also had a good split between the kids who wanted to play video games and the adults who did not. Overall, the lodge was a perfect combination of "together" but also offering all the privacy you'd want. The hosts are very friendly and accommodating. And the house is even nicer than the photos depict. The construction is a classic style so you can't tell how old it is from the photos. I was pleased to arrive and find - while a classic lodge style - the lodge is a fairly modern build, with stylish kitchen and open concept living. We normally stay in the Sunriver area, but will now only be staying at Gloria and Doug's lodge in LaPine. It was maybe an extra 5 minutes to Mt Bachelor and far more private and affordable. We highly recommend DiamondStone Lodge!

We visited some friends who were staying here. The house was beautiful and if we didn't live in the area already we would definitely stay here

The wife and I did not stay the night here but are immediate family did when they rented it and has six bedrooms and five bathrooms that they rented as a Airbnb. Huge place lots of extra kitchens I think there's four just an all-around huge place to stay at for a big family there were 22 people staying at this residence for the weekend.
Rooms: Each bedroom has its own individual heating unit and either a mini kitchen or a full kitchen and either a half bath or a full bath with a huge shower
Walkability: You can walk right down to the river jump in with your float and hang out.
Noteworthy details: Other than the poor water pressure this unit was great.
