I'm from Spokane visiting my second family from CT, and we decided to take a quick hike and loved it. Lots of diverse trails with various landscapes to explore. Both mapped and unmapped trails to explore. Really laid back. Next time I'm getting a license and bringing my poles. Saw a decent size fish in the river.

Typical state park near urban area. Sites are small and attract people with no camping etiquette (read partying well into the night). Decent facilities in shoulder season.
