Love the location but management can't get their act together. For the past few months our neighbours have been smoking and our apartment just stinks of second hand smoke. They say they are working on it but don't do anything and in the meantime we suffer. Others we talked to say the same thing. Look else where!!

Made an appointment on their website only to be told they have no timeslots available when I arrived. I have the confirmation email showing my appointment time. Drove 30 minutes down for nothing. Waste of time. Would give 0/5 stars if I could.

I recently toured Vellagio Apartments while apartment hunting and I was genuinely impressed, especially with the staff there. Krista and Kat were outstanding during the tour. They were knowledgeable, friendly, and really made an effort to address all my questions and concerns.
Although I ended up choosing a different apartment due to its location being more convenient for me, I felt it was important to highlight how great the experience at Vellagio was, primarily because of the staff. Krista and Kat were so helpful and professional; they really stood out in making Vellagio feel welcoming.
The apartments and the facilities looked great, but it was the warmth and professionalism of Krista and Kat that made a lasting impression on me. If location hadn't been a deciding factor, Vellagio would have been a top contender, thanks to them.
To anyone considering Vellagio, I can definitely say the staff, especially Krista and Kat, are fantastic and will make your apartment search a pleasant experience.

The villaggio has such incredible potential to be an amazing place to live. Its unfortunate that the exorbitant rents and hefty annual rent increases dont get used to enhance or improve the property. Its also unfortunate that the staff and management make no effort to have any community events or show tenants in any way that they are valued or appreciated.
The grounds are lovely. The location cant be beat. But stop nickel and diming residents . Stop the enormous rent increases (23% in 2 years!). Clean the dock (see photo of goose and duck poop this past summer). Get rid of the monstrosity at the end of the dock that obscures the view (see photo of the houseboat that has been docked there for a year and doesnt even belong to a paying resident). Replace the tattered and ripped furniture in the leasing offices communal spaces so that tenants feel welcome and comfortable to use those areas. Get a computer and printer and actually have a business center for residents instead of just saying there is one in the 74 page lease (there hasnt been a business center in over 4 years!). Fix the call boxes in front of building 7 so visitors and deliveries can actually buzz from outside to let you know they are at the door. Get rid of the ancient sunken and filthy lounge chairs by the pool or at least get new cushions. Add some outdoor seating on the lawns so that residents can actually use the grounds for something more than a bathroom for the dogs. Hold community events like other apartment buildings do, to build community, boost morale and meet your neighbors. Bring back the little tenant appreciation gestures such as baskets on St. Patricks Day or Mothers Day. Return security deposits in a timely manner without making tenants wait for 30 days after moving out. Dont disrespect loyal tenants by raising the rent, only to then offer the very same just-vacated apartment to a new tenant for less money.
If you really want to BE a luxury apartment building, instead of just SAYING you are one, then do what it takes to actually be one.
