Crowne Plaza Philadelphia - King of Prussia, an IHG Hotel

I stayed at the Crown Plaza King of Prussia with my husband and a couple of friends for a long weekend in Philly for Wrestlemania. We knew that Philly would be a lot busier with the influx of people and more expensive to stay, so we opted to stay just outside the city at King of Prussia.
The hotel location made it easy to get to downtown Philly via Uber and transit. It's located across the road from the King of Prussia mall and walking distance to nearby bus stops. [Highly recommend the 124/125 bus to get you straight into downtown Philly.] Lots of other shopping and entertainment options within a short drive from the hotel.
The rooms were spacious and clean. We were able to get an adjoining room with our friends, which was great. The king bed and pillows were comfortable. The hallways were a bit noisy in the mornings as noise easily traveled into the room from the hallway. Ample parking is available out front. I can't speak to the amenities as we didn't use any of them, but the lobby and general appearance of the hotel seemed well maintained and the staff was friendly and welcoming. I would stay here again.
Rooms: No safe located in the room. Rooms are clean and spacious. Noise travels from the hallway. Heat/AC unit kicking on is a bit loud. Good light-blocking drapes. Large shower with toiletries provided. Luggage stand and hairdryer provided. Adjoining rooms available.
Safety: Located within a predominantly commercial area. Located across the street from the King of Prussia mall.
Food & drinks: Many food and drink options located close by. Shake Shack and King of Prussia mall food court are within walking distance.

Unfortunately, there was a bedbug on one of the beds in the first room we were placed in my daughternoticed it within 20 minutes of being in the room.. I called the front desk, and the manager came up right away and moved us to a different room. Long story short, we were too nervous to stay, so we left the hotel, and the hotel compensated the room free. We were there for our church conference but decided to go back home
