This is no longer the well respected company it was under the former owners. Paid 20k for a 14000 lb elevator lift. My boat was on a trailer on the property when they did the installation. They took measurements and adjusted the bunks to match the boat but told me to call them when I put the boat on the lift for the first time and they would make any adjustments necessary.
So when I used it for the first time it would not go up only down. Also the bunks were installed in a way that the aluminum was grinding on my gel-coat. Called the office never heard back but luckily I had Jeff (the only person at Upper Keys Marine that cares about customer service) the installers number and he talked me through how to override the limit switch. He did come back a few days later and replaced the switch. Looked at the bunk problem and said he needed his crew to help him with the bunks and he would return to fix that problem.
Instead I received a call from the salesman telling me they would come by and move the bunks out but not the guide posts therefore rendering the guide posts useless. When I stated this he told me plenty of people dont use the guide posts and just hold the boat off the post by however far while the lift rises up and catches the boat. All good if the wind is not blowing and you have at least two people to hold it in position.
I told him that was unacceptable and I wanted to use the guide post as intended to make the process as easy as possible.
So he talked to the owner and now they will SELL me some spacers to move the guide posts out to where the boat will be. Apparently my 22 Anger center console in an unusual boat so not their fault the lift did not fit the boat as they ordered it. As of today there are 41 Angler boats for sale on boat trader and they built them for 30 years in Miami.
So the cautionary tale is if you get a quote from Upper Keys Marine for an elevator lift you may have to pay additional money above the contract price to adapt to your vessel. Stay away.
Long story short I fixed it myself with an afternoons work and $150 of material.
Next thing they will tell me is I voided the warranty by adapting the lift myself but I think not as I paid the contract price in full and that would really make the extra money they were trying to get out of me extortion.

I highly recommend Upper Keys Marine Construction. From the Office staff to the field supervisors to the "grunts on the ground" doing the work, each and every one of the people I dealt with were professional and courteous. The crew that installed my lift were fast, efficient and left the work area completely cleaned up when they left. It's a shame that it takes the building dept. longer to approve a permit for a lift on an existing dock than it does to install it!
