I had a Willow oak tree that had to be cut down after hurricane Ida. I am very pleased and impressed with Crescent City Tree. They were on time, very professional, efficient, very neat, respected my property and cleaned up. I will recommend them to friends looking for a tree company and will use them in the future. Had 6 large pine trees removed. Came out a day earlier than originally expected. Crew was extremely professional and respectful. Would use again! Came with high recommendation and I can clearly see why.

I texted/emailed Crescent City Tree requesting an estimate.
A you man named Joe called and made an appt. When he arrived, I showed him exactly what I wanted done and the location of the trees. He texted me an estimate of $600.00, which was more than I expected but close to other estimates I had.
I texted Joe back that the price was acceptable and to please call me to set a date and time to meet the crew at my house.
Monday, 9-10-2022 at 9:14 am, Crescent City Tree called my cell phone. I couldn’t answer because I was at work with a client in front of me.
At 9:18 am, I received a text…”Hi Kevin. This is Sherry with Crescent City Tree. We had to reschedule a job this morning and we would like to send a crew out to take care of your Magnolia and Orange tree. I just wanted to let you know.”
I wasn’t able to get to the text until 9:43 am, 25 minutes later. I texted back…”They’ll have to come after 5:00. I’m at work on weekdays.”
Joe called me a couple minutes later to tell me they can’t come that late in the day because it is getting dark by 5:00. I said they would have to come on Saturday then. Then Joe informed me that their crew had already been to my house and completed trimming my trees already. I told him I did not give my permission to let them on my property with me not being there, let alone to START the job. I referred him to my previous text that I wanted a call to set an APPOINTMENT for them to start so I could be there when the crew arrived. I do not permit anyone to work on my property with my permission and presence. They cleaned up very well, the only evidence they were there was all the mission limbs. I wanted a TRIM, not have large limbs lopped off.
It was too late, as they had been and gone by 9:40am. The crew trimmed MUCH MORE than I had wanted on both trees, and had done so without my permission. I was, understandably, very upset. The damage was done and I’m stuck with an overdone job.
What’s worse is they did not leave, text or email me an invoice. I called Joe and made an appointment for him to bring me an invoice so I could pay the bill twice. Joe did not show up or call to tell me he wasn’t coming on Thursday, 1-13-22, did not call or show on Friday 1-14-2022. until 7:00 pm.
Crescent City Tree is VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. I will not be using this company a second time. Nor will anyone I know.

We had the best experience with the entire crew at Crescent City Trees. From the estimate all the way to the stump grinding everyone was so nice, very professional, and highly skilled. We were nervous with a tree so large and so much of it over our home but you can tell the Crescent City Trees crew loves what they do and were excited for the challenge. They even came to finish grinding the stump right after hurricane Ida hit. 10/10 would hire them again! Service: Tree removal
