The Crossing of barry rd family has been very good to me & mines. Ms. Rolanda have been vary exceptionable on doing her job commendably. I see a bright future for her and this company. The Crossing family are awesome

The first time I went to The Crossing at Barry Road, I was attended by Lynn Byron. If at any time you think about applying here you can go with her with your eyes closed, she is a very gentle and kind woman, always willing to help those who need it. The place is very nice, quiet and many shops are nearby.

Ive lived here for the past 4 years and am moving out in the next month or so because I bought a house. One issue weve had recently due to all of the snow weve gotten has been a lack of snow removal. The concrete stairs and sidewalks are not shoveled. At all. They are packed down into ice. Occasionally theyll sprinkle salt down but they do not clear the whole sidewalk.
There has been a beeping sound and water flowing out of the sprinkler closet on the side of the building for about a month now. Maintenance doesnt do anything about it and Im pretty sure its a fire code violation as theres no communication to the alarms. Good luck getting someone to answer the phone in the leasing office. I usually have to call multiple times to get someone on the phone. At least Lynn is a saint.
My rent is so much higher than my new mortgage. By over $200 thanks to extra fees you cant decline like smart home services and valet trash which add on $70 every month.
My car was broken into a couple years ago and they stole my Ray Ban sunglasses (only thing of value in there at the time), then literally this week someone tried to break into or steal my boyfriends truck. Destroyed the lock on the driver door but they didnt manage to get in fortunately. Nothing has been done by the crossing to address the security issue.
On a good note:
Maintenance issues are usually addressed by the next day, my apartment is in decent shape, small but decent shape, close to major highways and zona rosa, the office staff are very nice and helpful once you get ahold of them, and the storage space for closets and outdoor storage are really great.
