I can't think of a better way to experience Juneau than staying at Silverbow, there really is nothing else that compares to this hotel in the entire city. The rooms were stunning, spacious, and don't even get me started on those beds... they were SO COMFY. I've never slept better at a hotel. The staff treats you like family and the entire hotel is chocked full of amenities, snacks, amazing complimentary breakfast, and basically all you can eat chocolate chip cookies. Why even bother looking for a stay anywhere else? Silverbow has it ALL.

This place was perfect! My room was cozy, quiet and comfortable. The staff were helpful and kind. The room wasnt too hot, which is a huge bonus to us Alaskan travelers. I could heat it as needed but I turned the thermostat down and was able to get comfortable.
The tea and coffee were hot and always ready. Breakfast options let me load up on protein, which kept me fueled for the long workdays I had while in town.
This was my first stay at the silverbow but I promise, it wont be my last!

I never get over how much I feel taken care of at the Silverbow Inn. This time we stayed in 210 and 209 which are from the newer remodel. The added details in these new rooms made us feel right at home. We couldnt stop sitting in the swing! I cant wait to go again and stay longer.

I've booked dozens upon dozens of faceless corporate hotels while traveling for work and it was refreshing to stay somewhere with actual personality and character. Silverbow is incredibly charming and intimate. After a few days I felt at home and was sad to leave.
My room did not have a fridge or microwave, but both are available for 24/7 use in the kitchenette downstairs. I did have a motorized adjustable bed and smart TV though, which were very nice. Breakfast was humble, but satisfying. The egg cup bites were quite tasty, especially when paired with an English muffin and avocado. I much preferred this offering over the typical chafing dish-fare you get at other hotels.
The highlight of my trip was the rooftop hot tub deck. Relaxing under the Alaskan night sky during a gentle snowfall is an experience I will not soon forget. The sub-freezing air temperature no match for the steaming water, drink in hand, gazing over the beautiful Juneau landscape.
All in all, I would highly recommend. The location is great, the staff are wonderful, and the whole experience was lovely. If I'm ever lucky enough to visit Juneau again in the future, Silverbow will be at the top of my list of places to stay.
Walkability: Right in the heart of downtown Juneau, surrounded my countless local shops, restaurants, bars, museums, and all sorts of various curiousities.

This is a very eclectic place, with 3 buildings tied into 1. We had a full room with a kitchenette. The hot tub was nice and fun, the food was good, and the service for such an odd place was great. Just be aware that this ain't no LaQuinta, Hampton, or Mariott when you come here.
