I Thank God for all the doctors, nurses and for everyone's help. Starting in the ER, very helpful, friendly and professional. There are are a few names that I remember that I would like to say really made my stay at NEA relaxed. To know that I came to the right place for my health needs. They are the women of 4E. Tamika, Natalie,davida, Shakira, Jennifer and all the other staff that came through the door of 4218 for me. I love them all and they will always be remembered by me. God bless the hospital staffing of NEA hospital!

My mother of 89 yrs was treated horribly in this hospital where she died. She was going to the restroom with assistance before she came here; but the staff is lazy, and they just threw a diaper on her, and pumped her full of morphine so that they wouldn't have to deal with her as much. She constantly had diarrhea while her butt became so raw her skin was peeling. My precious mother had cuts, bruises, and scrapes all over her arms because they were so rough when cleaning her. They flopped her around like a rag doll while they cleaned her and she screamed which my brother witnessed. In fact she pleaded for help mostly when they came near her. Then, when she passed, the guy was so monstrous he broke all her ribs to only bring her back for a few minutes (maybe 30). I'm aware you can possibly break ribs when performing CPR especially on the elderly; but my brother witnessed the bed flopping and her head bobbing. I just took a CPR class and have taken the course many times, and I know you don't have to be that rough. I wonder if some medical facilities just think the elderly are not worth caring for because they are going to die soon? The NEA in Jonesboro was horrible to my mother.
