General Rental

Our daughter called to rent some folding chairs for our grandchild's first birthday the following day. To alleviate some of her burden we offered to pick up the chairs. But, we live out of town. We already happened to be in town with a trailer for something related to our family-owned business earlier in the day. So, we called General rental at 3:45 to see if we could pick up the chairs now rather than have to bring the trailer back again in the morning. Mike said he couldn't do that without charging us for another day. Even though they wouldn't be renting them out this evening. Not a very accommodating company. When I asked if there was anyone else I could speak to that could authorize it, he said. "Yeah, he'll be here in the morning!". We will remember this poor customer service next time we rent. Probably will use Atlantic Rental who we've used a lot in the past.

A great business if you need a specific tool for a day or half a day they have it . Just go in pay your deposit and when you return it they will refund your deposit and you pay for the time you used the tool. Will use again

Very nice people, rented a stump grinder and after a few hours it broke down. It happens, nothing anyone can do about that. But they offered to bring me another one right out but to save time I just went and picked it up myself since I was just a couple miles away. Within an hour they came to pick up the broken one. They also gave me time to make up for the time lost though I didnt need it in the end. Also, the prices were significantly better than any of the bigger companies that I found in the area.
