This was a great bank. I loved all the people, I loved how local it was. I loved how my account actually worked, and how quickly transactions would go through. But I overdrafted so many times, because I was unable to sign in online to check my balance. It would automatically reset my password and lock my account every 60 days, just as a regular security measure. And I really appreciate the extra security, but it became overbearing. If I ever got a new phone, or logged in using a browser, it would always tell me, (even though I knew my username and password!) it would tell me I had to answer all kinds of security questions and have a phone calls and texts sent to my phone number. I was okay with it at first, but once I had to call Cheaha and speak to someone to fix my account, what felt like once a week, I gave up and just decided I needed to go to a bank where I could actually check my account balance when I needed to. Sometimes, I would even have to wait over the weekend before I could speak to someone to get my account unlocked.
