My things were delivered on time (barely), but not without a lot of frustration, confusion, and damage. The main problems, in order of seriousness, were:
1) Over the course of two weeks, I was given three different estimated delivery dates, all of which passed without so much as a phone call from Stinelli Bros (much less a revised estimate or an explanation of the delay).
2) Before signing the contract for the move, I asked if my things would stay on the same truck on which they were originally loaded or if they would be off-loaded/stored in warehouses/loaded again (thereby increasing the chance for damage). Fred Stinelli said he was “99% certain” my things would stay on the same truck they were originally loaded on. In the end, my things were stored in warehouses three separate times. (When pressed, Stinelli revealed they do this regularly during the busy season, approximately five customers per month). Several of my items were damaged beyond repair in transit, including two antique family heirlooms. I've posted photos on Yelp of the damaged crate in which my things arrived.
3) When Stinelli Bros. realized they would have trouble making my delivery within the agreed-upon window of time, they gave my shipment to an independent contractor (without notification, request for permission, or a new contract). I was told that the independent contractor used to be an Arpin agent and still does military moves for Arpin, but since I am not military and the company is not currently licensed nor governed by Arpin for civilian moves, neither point is relevant. I’ve asked several times for Stinelli/Arpin to direct me to the relevant clause in the contract that makes this hand-off legal, but have yet to receive an answer.
When I voiced concerns to Fred Stinelli, he became defensive and said I didn’t have a “legitimate gripe” unless my things were delivered late. The company treated me and my things with disrespect and, because of #3 above, I question their business practices on ethical and legal grounds.

Top notch A++ moving company. Professional! Experts! Amazing. Positive experience from the very 1st call. I highly recommend. I moved from Cranberry Township, PA to Chandler, AZ and it was totally stress free from the second they showed up at my door.

Last month we moved from Pittsburgh to Michigan, and we had a wonderful experience with Stinelli Brothers. They were very helpful and thorough as they talked through the details of our move with us, promptly dropped off boxes when we needed them for the packing we were doing ourselves, and were fast and efficient with the packing and loading that they did for us. Our things arrived on time, and the same people who loaded our truck unloaded it. We also loved the fact that anything that they disassembled at our house in Pittsburgh was reassembled for us at our new house. Everything arrived in good condition. All in all, our move went smoothly and easily, and I am so thankful that they gave us such a pleasant experience.

Stinelli Bros in Pittsbugh is an A+++ Arpin Moving agent ! From the first contacts with their Moving Consultant Rick Thomas, by phone or email, I began to realize the difference between this and other companies.
The owner, Fred Stinelli, in person come to my house and quickly and very effectively estimated the weight of my furniture and send me a binding estimate for moving services with a fair and guarantee price.
On the packing, loading and uploading days a very polite, dynamic and professional crew of 5 people surprised me how thoroughly and efficiently they worked (hard) with a good natured sense of humor in every phase of my move. Conclusion: Nothing was broken, no furniture was damaged, the price was fair and service was excellent.
After reading a lot of bad reviews (nightmares) about other companies, the Stinelli Bros was really a peace of mind.I was very fortunate to be provided with their outstanding service. I highly recommend them.
