As a frequent business traveler, I consistently choose Marriott properties wherever I go. When I find myself working in Huntsville, AL, my go-to accommodation is the **AC Hotel Huntsville Downtown**. Let me share my recent experience with you.
**Positives**
Attentive and Friendly Staff: The hotel's staff members are exceptional. Their warm hospitality and attentiveness make every stay memorable.
Prime Location: Situated across from The Von Braun Center and Big Spring Park, the hotel's location is unbeatable.
**The Issue**
During my most recent stay, I encountered an unfortunate problem: the cleanliness of the sheets. As the photo below shows, the sheets had not been changed before my arrival. This oversight was disappointing, especially after a long day of work.
Thankfully, I have a habit of inspecting my surroundings before settling in for the night. Around 10:30 PM EST, I checked the sheets, and to my dismay, they were soiled and unwashed. I immediately called downstairs to report the issue.
Xavier, the Night Shift Manager, promptly responded. Despite not having another available room, he personally came up to my room and changed the sheets himself. I appreciate his swift action and dedication to resolving the problem.
**Constructive Feedback**
While Xavier's response was commendable, I must express my disappointment with the housekeeping team. Their oversight was unacceptable, and it left me feeling uncomfortable. Remaking a bed with soiled sheets is simply unacceptable.
In summary, the AC Hotel Huntsville Downtown has its merits, but the housekeeping standards need improvement. I hope my feedback contributes to a better experience for future guests.

The staff, especially Cassie, Sarah . They go beyond any staff at any local downtown hotels. The view the amenities are very welcoming. My go to hotel in Huntsville for sure..

We live in Huntsville and needed a staycation and this was the BEST one ever. It literally was a getaway even in a city we live in. We had a gorgeous city view overlooking Big Spring Park. The rooms were immaculate, the bed was comfy, the sound didn't travel much between rooms at all and the location was perfect. Not only that, but Keona in sales made sure we had everything we needed since it was my push gift from my hubby and I needed extra pillows and some accommodations. That being said... again, the beds are soooo comfy! Oh, and the desk staff was super friendly as well (shout out to Sam).
All-in-all, I'd definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others as well.
Things to note: There isn't a pool, but there are 2 nice bars. The rooms don't have microwaves (probably for safety reasons), but they do have a nice size refrigerator and there is a microwave available for use downstairs.
