I went to this place several years ago for Autism screening. They were supposed to run my insurance previous to the visit to make sure the testing would be covered. On the day of my visit I arrived to a dark, dirty, run down office. The waiting room "chairs" are literally a piece of a sectional sofa. The counselor, Josh, has a security camera running during the entire visit with no explanation as to why. After several weeks I had not received my test results. After a game of phone / email tag with a very unprofessional office manager, I was told that I would need to pay $900 for the visit before my results would be released to me. When I asked for an invoice to submit to my insurance I was sent an editable Excel file that just listed the visit as "Josh". I was told I would not receive my results until I paid and it was never clarified to me whether or not they submitted to my insurance at all. It's now been several years and I've never received a bill nor my results. I was speaking to an LPC that I work with yesterday, and she informed me that withholding records due to non-payment is illegal.
I don't know what the deal is with this place, it's incredibly shady and unprofessional and I'm surprised every time I see they are still in business. The entire experience gave me massive anxiety and I found when looking back into this issue yesterday that I still feel significant anxiety and a general feeling of violation from my experience here. Avoid this place, and if you can't, research your rights and report their illegal activity, as I'm about to do.

I had Brittany. She is an amazing therapist. I wish I could still see her, but unfortunately my insurance changed

If you get Josh as a counselor make sure you tell him to turn off the video camera before your session starts. He also likes to ask if he can smoke while talking to you in the building, total professional. This hole in the wall place is the worst facility I've ever seen, they'll even try to charge you even though insurance covers it. You're better off talking to your dog or watching paint dry, avoid at all cost.
