Dr.Boyd is very friendly but both times I scheduled an appointment here it was over an hour wait. I understand delays but wish they honored the time slots better

I had a wonderful experience at Affiliated Food & Ankle Center! Dr. Phan was kind and helpful! I am really thankful for my experience and would recommend them to anyone in need of a foot doctor. My father also had an amazing experience a few years back with a very serious foot injury. The staff behind the desk was also wonderfully kind & comforting! I felt welcomed during all 3 of my appointments. The Wizard of Oz themed office also creates a joyful environment! I am happy my foot is healing, but is it silly to say I will miss heading to the office every few weeks?? Great vibes and great service! Rock on, Affiliated Foot & Ankle Center!

Front desk staff, great, Dr. Saka seemed good BUT, the women that put me in the room, I am not sure I will return. She brought me to the room and (nasty) said he will take care of 1 issue so pick your worst. I explained when I made the appointment I said what was wrong, they did not say I would need more than one appointment. I was a patient here years ago and my insurance changed so I had to change, now I was able to go back but not to be treated like this. If you take the day to see the Doctor you should be able to give them all the information to treat you. They may not be able to solve all the issues but at least there can be understanding and a plan for the future. Be aware- I told her I was not told this when I made the appointment- she said they are very busy and short staffed.

Calming and wonderful atmosphere in here. I love the Wizard of Oz theming in their waiting room decor! Takes your mind off the pain and makes you think of good times. The receptionist was attentive and just had a positive energy that was contagious.
They are taking good measures to assure that the facility is safe and clean, and provide hand sanitizer and wipes, which is great! The doctor saw me after just a very small wait and he listened with interest to my concerns and gave me exactly what I needed. Now I no longer have pain in my feet and toes while at work and it's been a game-changer!
His advice to change my shoes for better ones more suited to my needs has also helped me, and I'm glad he explained the issues that ill-fitted shoes or shoes not meant for working in, can cause, so I am more aware when choosing my footwear.
5/5 stars, would recommend to anyone in need!

Back in early 2020 I suffered a foot injury as I work retail and regularly put in 60+ hours a week during the beginning of the COVID-19 Pandemic..
My left foot was constantly swollen and in pain.My coworkers suggested I see a podiatrist as I probably had a cyst or plantar fasciitis because I had a lump in my Arch also..
I went to my primary care doctor who examined it, saw the swelling and sent me for a CT Scan which came back inconclusive.He also recommended a podiatrist as I definitely had a problem and needed an X-ray.
He had no podiatrist recommendations, so I went to Google Maps to find a podiatrist near my home,which I found and went to.This podiatrist in Jackson,with no x-ray quickly diagnosed me with plantar-fasciitis.He Taped my foot up and sent me on my way to follow up in a week..I wasn't satisfied and my wife was furious as I had questioned about an x-ray and that doctor said it was plantar- fasciitis and he said for me to follow up in a week and let him know how my foot was feeling and we would proceed from there.
Now being very frustrated and still in pain, I never went back to that doctor. Instead I kept looking for a second opinion and my supervisor at work highly recommended me to see Dr.Saka at Affiliated Foot and Ankle Center in Howell.. which I did.
Dr Saka took one look and immediately had me get an in office X-ray and it showed, "7 Fractures over my Metatarsal Area.".all of my toes..And as I am older and I suffer from neuropathy,This can mask alot of the pain with swelling and numbness..
Dr Saka immediately immobilized my foot and ankle in a cast and after much consultation and information,
he scheduled a reconstructive surgery for my left foot..
I met with his assistant surgeon and later had the surgery in July 2020..A very complicated 8 hour reconstructive surgery which left me immobilized for months..
When I could finally go to Physical Therapy with Valerie who in on site and with her help and guidance I continued home exercise and went back to work in January 2021..
Although I cannot be in my feet for long periods of time, I am fully mobile and that's thanks to Dr.Saka.
I cannot say enough about Dr.Saka. He is courteous, professional and Highly Skilled in his Field.He saved me from possibly losing my foot.I cannot Thank Him Enough.
His Staff is very friendly and accommodating, Juanita is very reassuring and informative as the X-ray Tec...Paula, Lori and Ezba are the nicest and really create a friendly atmosphere,and Nevia is just the best.She helped me thru my Insurance paperwork as well as Disability, appointment changes etc..
Valerie worked with me in physical therapy and gave me home exercises to do also which helped me heal back quickly and better than expected..
If I could give them 100 stars I would..
