Seth Topek is absolutely phenomenal. He is calm, professional and confident. We acquired his services for a parole revocation hearing and we didn't even have to go to the revocation hearing, he got our family member out of jail at the initial preliminary hearing. I called Mr. Topek last year. I had hired a lawyer about 25 years ago to represent my brother for parole. Rarely heard from the lawyer and had no results. I had asked this attorney every time my brother came up to ask them to allow me to come before them (the parole board) and this never happened. In the 25 years I believe I talked to the attorney three times. I went to a FILA meeting and they told me I needed to get my brother another lawyer. One that would actively look at his file and do the work. That lawyer was Mr. Topek. He took the case, walked me through the process, called me on a regular basis and got me before the parole board (I talked with a wonderful parole officer). AND NOW, my brother is being released after 40 years in prison. The parole officer commented on Mr. Topek's parole packet he put together for my brother. Said he had never seen one so professional and well put together. I know this allow the board to see my brother as a person and not just a number.
